Cars and movies. Sometimes they ironically go hand in hand.


Take a second to think about your favourite films and how cars have actually played a lead role in them or become the forefront to sequels. The way cars have changed in the world of cinematography over the past 10 years is astonishing. CGI is now the epidemic forefront when it comes to movies in general let alone action and stunt scenes. Cars in current films such as the re-made Mad Max will now be an expectation making Herbie the poor forgettable Beetle of the 60’s.

Once you start thinking about it in depth, childhood favourites become remotely visible to how cars in films used to be perfectly realistic and drivable. But what have they actually been replaced with?
