Every year a higher proportion of cars are damaged by the increasing amount of speed bumps and pot holes across the roads. New figures released have shown exactly what cars have the most work done suspension wise each year, with the Audi RS6 top of the list.

The top complaint from customers is that their axle and suspension components were seriously damaged due to state of roads.  The increasing amount of speed bumps and pot holes has been said to increase the damage of car suspension, costing an average of £247 to fix, especially across the winter.

Warranty Direct’s database of 50,000 live clients has shown that vulnerable vehicles are up to 30 times more likely to claim for suspension damage, than most robust cars.

Managing director, David Gerrans, said: “Any vehicle driven on damaged, poor surfaces regularly or used for commuting on routes littered with speed bumps will eventually come to grief. London is particularly bad for the latter. The roads are as bad as ever but some cars are affected terribly.”
