Details of motorsports show the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (CPOP) have been unveiled for 2015.

CholmondeleyFrom June 12th to 14th, the show will be focussing on ‘power’ in a variety of guises, whether that’s on land, in the water or in the air.

Among the spectacles that people can expect to see over the course of the event are stunts, races, competitions and displays on and off-road.

One of the events that focusses on the ‘power’ theme is a 1,000 bhp-plus class that will be taking to the Cholmondeley race track. There will be some of the most powerful rally cars in the world from the Group B era and some Formula One cars from the turbo era in the 1980s.

Among those included in the parade are the original Seven, the Esprit and the Evora GTE, the most powerful Lotus ever made. Event director James Hall said: “This is the eighth year that CPOP has been running and we have a lot of exciting elements in the pipeline to make this year’s line-up bigger and better than ever.

“CPOP is the only motorsport event in the UK where visitors can be enthralled by explosive power on land, water and in the air. We’re making even more of a feast for the senses this year by going back to our roots with the theme of ‘power’.
