This motoring fanatic has rebuilt an astonishing Austin Mini Cooper and finished it with a marvellous yellow and black paint job.

The unnamed motoring fanatic had taken up the task with conscientious detail by making sure every detail is no different from the original, from the Mk1 grille to the Lucus Lamps. He has even gone as far as to include a Austin Cooper bonnet badge!

The Austin Mini Cooper is fitted with replica Microcell Contour rally seats, a original MK1 oval center console and Mk 1 gear knob to give the interior the same 60’s look.

The engine is no different, in fact it’s the same engine which was used back in the 60’s. The original 1.5 SU carb has also been fitted after getting rebuilt and fitted with an electric ignition.

The unnamed motoring fanatic has gone even further and has used the original green engine paint and new aluminium Austin badges.
