Fans of performance vehicles might like to head along to the first hill climb event of the year to take place at Shelsley Walsh, near Worcester, this weekend.
The event will see petrolheads from across the UK converging on the Midlands site, which will host the opening round of this year's TTC Group Midland Hill Climb Championship.
Contenders for the title Charles and James Williams of Claverley, near Wolverhampton, will be taking to the track in a Force PC racing car this year, having previously competed using an F3 Dallara.
Charles commented: "This machine is very different indeed, it is very light and powered by a highly-tuned 1,585 cc Suzuki Hayabusa engine and we will be aiming for a 26-second run if skill and the conditions allow."
Shelsley Walsh is the oldest continually operating motorsport venue in the world, having held its first race back in 1905. The event is set to get underway at 09:30 BST on Saturday (May 5th) and is likely to draw large crowds.
