One particular exhibit is capturing the imagination of visitors however, and that is the unveiling of a new two-tone option for the manufacturer's Ghost model.

"Whether Ghost or Phantom, any Rolls-Royce is a work of art, taking its place in our clients' luxury collections alongside yachts, helicopters and fine jewellery," said Torsten Muller-Otvos, chief executive officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

"So I am delighted that we are now able to offer two-tone options for Ghost as well as for Phantom, features that once again extend the palette upon which a Rolls-Royce masterpiece can be painted."

Available for the first time in 2012, the new two-tone option for the Ghost is a bespoke option for buyers and is complemented by a silver-black interior in the show model which is on display in Geneva.

Rolls-Royce has also unveiled its new Phantom Series II model at the show, with the crowds flocking to see the latest luxury vehicle from the company which is renowned for its elegance and flair.

Features of the new series include LED lighting headlamps, as well as innovative "curve light functionality" to focus the beam in the direction of travel, improving safety and increasing visibility for the driver.

The model also features a striking new front end, which has been designed to encapsulate the design ethos of the Phantom Series II – that of a familiar theme, but lit in a different way.

Continuing to offer sublime ride comfort and driveability, the vehicle is now more sustainable, offering a ten per cent reduction in fuel consumption and emission reductions from 388 g/km of Co2 in the old model to 347 g/km in the new series II.
