The Japanese car scene engulfed Santa Pod on the weekend for Jap Show 2013 with plenty of Jap car lovers swamping the grounds and stands. Bringing the roads of Tokyo to the UK meant a fun fuelled day of everything Japanese, from Nissan Skylines to Toyota Supras.

Competitions were high on the agenda including the Jap and FWD Drag Series, the notorious Run What Ya Brung, Show and Shine, Drifting and many display competitions.

The Jap Drag Series took things to the level of true drag racing with Japanese Cars and it was clear that it wasn’t good enough to just turn up, run a decent time and head home with a trophy. Oh no! In fact the weekend’s show proved just how important being quick on the lights, having the power and keeping a consistent speed was.

The Run What Ya Brung competition invited all attending cars and bikes to take on the famous track and give it their best shot. £25 saw unlimited runs on Saturday and £20 got you 4 runs on the main Sunday show day with a print out of each performance available and the chance to win a £200 Eibach Pro-Kit!
